Best place to buy ammo cans online?

I thought we had a thread on this, but I couldn't find it. I need 50 cal and 30 cal ammo cans, quite a few, so I want to get them as inexpensively as possible, shipping and all. I cannot find anywhere locally that sells them, so I'm turning to the online world. Is there anywhere that sells them in bulk (5-10 at a time) with free shipping or any similar deals??

They are all in good shape and it wasn't a bad price. The last one I bought was probably about two years ago though.

Hmm, do they charge for shipping??

I know that the cans are quite heavy in the amounts I'm talking about, also quite bulky.

EDIT: They charge by price up to 100 pounds. Boy are they going to regret that!

You can buy them at gun shows or some places give you an ammo can when you buy ammo (Cabella's and CTD are 2 that come to mind).

Check out local Army Navy stores they should have them also.

The local AN store is 2 hours away and charges EIGHT DOLLARS for a .30 cal can. Twelve for a 50 cal.

I think I'm better off buying online, CTD seems to be the way, since they have shipping by price not weight.

Careful, it used to be that CTD added a surcharge specifically for ammo cans and other really bulky items.

Every military surplus store in the world has a ton of these things, you might try locally first.

Again, I tried locally, and they were outrageously expensive. I called CTD and they said that up to 100 lbs, there was no extra shipping for ammo cans.
