They've been making them out of unobtainium since last December, so unless you are willing to pay $70-100 for one, forget about it!
Hopefully S&W will wake up and do something about the situation soon, as I know people who've bought Glocks instead of M&Ps because of the lack of spare mags

Great... I have two new pistols and can't get mags for them. :lol: (P220 and M&P Pro C.O.R.E. 9L)

For what it is worth you may bet that M&P series pistols being sold to law enforcement agencies aren't being limited to (2) magazines per pistol. I learned my lesson from the last assault weapons ban with the limited capacity magazines. There are certain models from different manufactures that are being limited to (1) magazine per pistol.
