best pocket holster for the p3at?

I'm interested in this as well, so a bump with an additional question:

I have yet to carry, so this might be an incorrect opinion, but to me the pocket holsters with the leather panel seems the best option. You have the gun behind the panel in your pocket, so from the outside it looks like just a wallet.

But looking at the Hedley holsters in particular, it mentions that the panel is for back pocket use, and a separate model is made without the panel. So without the panel, do you have to worry about printing?

Go to your local gunshop and ask to see a Bianchi nemisis pocket holster. The plastic pouch it comes in is not sealed so you can take it out and put it back in w/o messing it up. They are very inexpensive, $12.50 and work well.

p3at holster

I am waiting for a pocket holster for a p3at from js holsters armory. This is the holster I am purchasing. http://armory.jsholsters.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=2058&catid=50

There is alot of things you can read on the web but I found this article helpful with good pictures. It is geared toward the p32 in the article but the p3at holster would be very close. http://www.a-human-right.com/p32/chromed.html

My order hasnt shipped yet, but I have been very impressed with the response to my questions and changes from the people at JS Holsters. They definetly do respond quickly. I hope this means their product is as good as their service.

I believe the Nemesis holster is made by Desantis.

I made a pocket holster in about 15 minutes out of some scrap leather and a little piece of wood as a spacer. I carry it in my right front pocket and have for quite some time. It looks like a wallet and works equally well in all my pants, even the thin suit pants. It keeps the pistol upright and the rough side outward allows the pistol to be drawn without the holster coming out also. It doesn't look like much, but it's always hidden anyway, right?

DeSantis Nemesis is nice. Slippery inside and sticky outside.

Also the Grandfather Oak pocket holster is inexpensive and has alot of fans on the KT board.

I've nothing to compare it to, but I've been very pleased with the DeSantis Nemesis. As others have already stated they're inexpensive and the tacky outsideslick inside combo works quite well.

+1 on the Desantis Nemesis - but again with the caveat that it's been my "one and only," so I can't really call it "the best."

Nemesis ain't the only DeSantis...

...Just the cheapest. I have one (Uncle Mike's makes a similar one too) and I'm not impressed. However,I have a nice leather DeSantis 'Sting' that also carries a spare mag. I usually put the spare mag in the weak side pocket, but the overall shape is square with the mag in the holster. It looks like a wallet.

Mika Holster

Here's a picture of my P3AT in a Mika holster. I've had it more than a year and have carried it 6 days a week for 7 months out of the year. No sign of wear. Paid about $19 for mine including shipping.

I carry my Glock 26 in a Nemesis holster, and I love it. The holster stays in the pocket when you draw the gun, but comes out easily when you want to remove it. No printing, either. To me, for pocket carry, the Nemesis is #1.

I have been using the Mikes#3 pocket holster for my P3at for a couple years now. I carry in jeans --front pocket. This gun is carried the most and the #3 has been fine. I also have a #3 for my P11. Low cost and good concealability.Looks like a wallet in your pocket.

K&D made a nice one for me. I like it alot.

Had a Nemesis. It grabbed the inside of the pocket with gusto. Unfortunately, it was less enthusiastic with it's grip of the gun. Gave it to a friend of mine who wanted it.

I received my JS holster today. Pretty good turn around, ordered on 10/3 and received today. As I said before, I was very impressed with their service and response by email and I am equally impressed with the holster. the front panel hides the outline of the grip and it is very easy to draw from the pocket, keeping the holster in the pocket. It also sits in the pocket better than the Uncle Mike's I had been carrying (which is now retired).

Another vote for the Desantis Nemisis here. When I carry my p3at in it the gun is kept in proper position. When drawing, the pistol comes out without a hitch and the holster stays in the pocket.

Another vote for Robert Mika's work. They aren't pretty but they are very functional and you cant beat the prices and service. I'm now carrying a KT P3at in the holster he made for my Tomcat. It just works.

I use a jagwear that I originally bought for my Beretta Bobcat, and it's a perfect fit for the P3ATand looks like a wallet in my back pocket. The photos on their website make it look like triggers are not covered, but mine does cover the trigger on the P3AT.
