Uh, no.

Some of us actually use our AK's for more than just "throwing rounds".

OP, buy an Aimpoint if you can, or if you can't, buy a PA micro and an Ultimak to go with either. If you can't do either of those, stick with irons.

I dont really think the AK is accurate enough for any kind of optic. Bareback it.

I have an overly expensive Midwest Industries side mount for my AK74 with a budget Leapers UTG red/green dot sight... Mount is bombproof and worth it if you want to be in a fire fight (Happens to me daily) and sight is actually well built for $30. However, it is no more accurate than with iron sights, and I'm actually faster with the irons. If I had to do it over, I'd just stay with irons

If an AK isn't "accurate enough for an optic", it ain't the rifle's fault...

I can already hit a penny at 1,000 yards blindfolded with my AK in a high wind... It renders any other sighting system on the rifle unnecessary.
