I must be on a roll thus year.I applied for a highly coveted Nebraska bull elk this year for the first time, and drew one.Yesterday morning, after only two hours in the woods,I had my first bull ever on the ground. And what a bull he was!A 6 x 7 estimated by people with a lot more experience than me,to weigh about 750 to 800 lbs.It was by far the easiest elk hunt I have ever been on,at least until he hit the ground!I will post pictures when I figure out how.I can't wait till deer season.

Yes, we need pictures or we'll believe that it didn't happen. Actually, I just need to see a good bull elk to get my pulse up. I'm itching for my season to come around.
