I must be on a roll thus year.I applied for a highly coveted Nebraska bull elk this year for the first time,and drew one.Yesterday morning,after only two hours in the woods,I had my first bull ever on the ground.And what a bull he was!A 6 x 7 estimated by people with a lot more experience than me,to weigh about 750 to 800 lbs.It was by far the easiest elk hunt I have ever been on,at least until he hit the ground!I will post pictures when I figure out how.I can't wait till deer season.
 
Yes, we need pictures or we'll believe that it didn't happen. Actually, I just need to see a good bull elk to get my pulse up. I'm itching for my season to come around.
