entropy- that cheap scope/hardware thing on a nice rifle stresses me out. I refuse to do it. I once had a clown where I worked at that wanted me to mount a Wal Mart Simmons on his new suppressed Armalite AR-10, with Tasco rings.
I did manage to tear a heel loose from a pair of Danner boots on a Utah mountain rock slide but the super glue from my backpack held it together for the rest of the hunt.
I am on my 4th pair and these are bad. They are comfortable and dry, but I can feel cold air going through them when I ride my ATV. 400 gram and I can feel air movement. Time to look for something else. Thanks for the info on the Danners- I've had the same pair since the late 90s, and used them HARD since I was issued them- lots of jumps and humps! They've even done a trip or 2 to Afg. on deployments. Yes, I was the one guy on the team with the black boots. Whenever its time for them to finally hit a dumpster I'll be shopping for another brand to replace them, or I'll just switch to my raichles- which are great boots but heavier.
