Hello fellow Riflemen.

I would like some information on the heavy duty
GG&G TriPod. I can get it for $212.00 or 189.00
I have 9 Haris BiPods none have the special features
the GG&G have. Please only answer if you have used
either of the 3 GG&G TriPods I will need the heavy duty.
Stock is from a Remington PSS & the Barrel is full not a
Varmit style with scope weight is just under 17 lbs.

Thank You
Mike

I have the GG&G Heavy Duty pivoting version and believe it to be the best bipod on the market. I have also used Atlas (but don't own one), VersaPod (which is better than average), Harris (own a few), Shooters Ridge (own one, and it's a decent light duty pod), as well as Caldwell (which is a POS), and probably a few others that have been forgotten.

Great info thanks.

Thanks Maverick.

That's the kind of answer I pray for & seldom get.
I will order today. I was told by a vender at the Asheville
Show it took 2 weeks. Small price for the best.

Thanks again it always pays to get an owner/users take.
Nice Rifle do you shoot 1000 yd Comp? I shoot at Oak
Ridge TN once in a while they have an 800 & a 1000
back to back, many times after the Regionals.

No problem 45EER. I don't shoot competition, and seldom get the opportunity to stretch it out that far due to the scarcity of long ranges in this area (the only one I know of is in Butner, NC). Despite being a bit further away, it is good to know that there is another 1k yd. range in this region...I have a friend that lives in the NC Mtns. so I might have to take a trip up there to Oak Ridge one weekend.

Hope the new bipod works as well for you as it does myself.

:)
