About a year ago, I built a custom 10/22 target rifle (and by built & custom meaning I purchased the parts and assembled it...I didn't really "build" anything). The rifle has a Tactical Solutions Vantage RS Stock (see link below). I have used it for 100 yard bench shooting and have really enjoyed it. It's one of my favorite guns.

I'd like to spend more time shooting from the prone position. It's not something I have a lot of experience with and would like to learn and get better at. I feel a bipod that I could fit to this stock would be an excellent addition to this rifle for that purpose. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the type of bipod I should get or look into getting? Thanks.

I suggest the locking legs swivel model of the same Harris as well. You can transfer it to another rifle later if you want and it will work for almost any probe shooting from .22 up to magnums.

I shoot a lot of rimfire benchrest. I like a Harris 6-9. I do not like for notch leg models though. The exact height you want may be between notches. I prefer the legs with the screw adjustments.

Its a personal preference thing, I like the stepped legs. Any adjustment is quick by adjusting how stock fits in rear bag, shoulder or whatever you rest it on.
