Beretta makes a Bisley version of the Stampede revolver, but it seems to use a different frame. Anybody know if the hammer from that gun would fit a Stampede Marshal? You gotta admit, that would be a nice-looking combination:

The GRIP frame is different but it's very unlikely the Bisley Stampede primary frame (also known as the "cylinder frame") is different than either the regular Stampede or the Marshal.

Certainly the Colt Bisley primary frame was the same as the SAA...

As to your question, yeah, should fit just fine. The problem though is going to be scoring the parts. At a minimum they'll likely be shipping out of Italy and worst case they'll consider that a "gunsmith install only" part for liability reasons.

Ruger hammers of all types can be had at Brownell's, which is where the SBH hammer on my New Vaq came from.

Here's why I was concerned about the frame:

"Instead of taking the easy road and 'dressing up' our Stampede as a Bisley, we have built this revolver from the ground up around a true Bisley frame – which is somewhat taller than that on its standard single-action cousin."

I assume they are talking about the cylinder frame, but I don't really know...

Beretta customer support chimes in:

"The Marshal is not available with the a blued Bisley hammer. The bisley hammer is not available for individual sale. Thank you for contacting Beretta Customer Support."

Maybe I'll buy a Ruger instead.
