black bear hunt outfitters?

Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you had any experience with and recommendations for a good outfitter for black bear? I have searched huntinfo.com for reviews but just when you find one you thing is great, then someone does a negative review for it. I was hoping to do a spring hunt this spring. Thanks

I have hunted with Korell Outfitters twice and would do so again in a heart beat. My brother and I both killed bull elk with them one 6x6 one 5x5, I killed a brown color black bear with them. My little bro has killed a bear and a Pope and Young cougar with them. I don't know where you are looking to hunt but these guys are out of Emette Idaho.

Thank you for your reply. As far as where Im looking to hunt, anywhere in the US works! Traveling is part of the fun.

Spring bear is easy in the mountain west here, you don't need a guide. All the "hunters" stay in and seem to miss the fun of spring hunting, at least in my area.

30,000 of the nuisances here in Maine (like in my front yard!)- come & "git em"!!

Maine has the largest black bear population in the lower 48 according to the articles in The Maine Sportsman & Northwoods Sporting Journal.

Too many. Combined with coyotes they account for 75% of the fawn crop in northern Maine. God help us if baiting is ever outlawed!
