Black bear intruder....advice....

We had a problem bear 11 years ago. When young black bears go out on their own and seek a territory sometimes they pick the wrong location. He was in the woods next to the house and in the woods across the road near a neighbors house. The neighbors were retired teachers with 4 or 5 bird feeders scattered around out back. The bear loved raiding those feeders. They contacted the Environmental Conservation Dept. who trapped him and took him to his new home about 50 miles away. They had what I call a giant "Havahart Trap"... Just a big cage open at one end with a door that swings shut.... All mounted on a two axle trailer. Bear was lured in ( don't know what the bait was) and became trapped. Then they just hooked the trailer to their truck and off they went. So they do have pretty good ways to relocate problem bears without harming them. But when he was in the neighborhood I had some firepower on "standby" just in case.
