My father-in-law and I went out near Bushwacker Coule in North Central Montana (Butch & Sundance hid out there once) and had some luck yesterday. A mule deer did what mule deers do - staring at me from 205 yds. She's in the coolers on the porch and I expect 50+ lbs. boned out.
It was a good, if cold day, and no lines at the check-out stand.
