Does anyone know of a gun store(s) in the Dallas-Fort Worth area that carries inventory of black powder arms. I'll be traveling to Dallas tomorrow, and would like to find a deal on a Ruger "Old Army" cap and ball, but don't know where to look. Thanks for any help that may be offered.

Bass Pro in Grapevine carries quite a few black powder guns and there is someplace here in Fort Worth that I heard carries quite a few. I can't remember the name of it for some reason but I want to say it is on Berry St., that ring any bells to anyone?

If you're feeling very adventurous you might try Ray's Hardware and Sporting Goods way down on Singleton in Dallas.
There is fencing and razor ribbon on the top of the building for a reason...but it is like a trip to the Inner Sanctum and worth your time.

James.......if you have no luck in the D/FW area.....looking for a Ruger Old Army......up here in OKC.....at "Outdooramericastore.com"....they have a pretty good selection of ROAs at the lowest prices you will ever see.
And unless the law has changed and I missed it..you still can buy blackpowder firearms...over the phone/internet.....and have them shipped to you house.

James, I just talked to Dave at Brutha Dave's. He's going to be at a state SASS match tomorrow (Wednesday), so the shop will be closed. He did say that he has a whole bunch of Ruger Old Army's. His price is $299. He also said that he'd ship it to you for a very reasonable price (hint: I think you can dicker with him).
