I have a box of 10 blackpowder pistols that are a friends of mine. She wants to know what they are worth. I know they are reproductions, but if possible, I would like to email some pictures to someone who can contact me.

Thanks,
John

Please email me, so I can send some pictures.

You can enter pictures on this thread. You can search for posting pix. They also have a permanent post-it about it at the top. Pictures do save a thousand words. You can get a lot of help in identifying guns here but you won't get much response without pictures.

Also, this is an information site. There are other sites which are specifically tuned to Buying, Selling, and Trading BP guns.

Post Pix and Welcome,

;)

Hi johnnyh,

Value will depend on condition, maker, and model.

Good images, and, detailed replys from you, to qustions about each one, would need to occur, in the Thread.

I don't know Geoff. If I caught my wife trying to price my guns, my first thought would be that she is preparing for a d i v o r c e. ;)

Been there, done that, wasn't even left with the T-Shirt after the divorce. :fire:

If your wife takes your pistol collection to some strange dude so he can inquire about what he could get for them on the net..... You might have bigger problems that that...

Change the locks and stick with hookers, a least ya know what you're going to lose to them up front.

Where in the OP was it ever mentioned that the OP's friend was even married?

DISCLAIMER: This post is made as a general statement and is directed at no specific person/entity.

Or the guy could really not know what they're worth or what they even are. So he stumbles onto the internet, maybe been on THR a few times before, saw the threads on blackpower revolvers and maybe even saw one that he kind of recognized, and figured he could get some information here.
If he was trying to sell them, he could have just as easily posted them in the classifieds here.

BTW - you can also search on gunbroker to get a rough (albeit somewhat overpriced) idea of what they're worth.

Perhaps the friend is a widow.

Gunbroker is more like GROSSLY overpriced. Vulgar prices.
