Has anyone shipped a black powder revolver through either usps or ups? I was told that I must have a FFL or pay one to ship either way. Ups says overnight for 62.00 and it has to go to a dealer. Any comments?
Nope
Black Powder arms are not considered firearms and you can send them any way you want.
Just ask Midway.
Now there may be a few localities that prohibit them so be careful.

Thanks for your reply. I see the post above and it has a lot of comments. I believe I have talked to uninformed employees and will have to go to supervisors. I am an old Air force man myself (1956-1960) I was a flight line mechanic in the 50s. Thanks for your help. Here in east Ky. is not the easiest place to ship anything.
I have had sales that I had to refuse because of shipping as I reduce my stock.
