Black rifle lovers, if you could have a US made legal version of one of these....

Which of these black rifles would you like to see produced (legally) here?

Personally I'm torn between the FN2000 and and the AN94. Wouldn't mind having all of them though. :)

Even if we could have the G36 or Sig they would be pretty damn expensive. They would be cool but I doubt I'd ever buy one...

I voted for the FNC, I figure it has a chance of being semi-affordable, who knows...

Instead of a black rifle -- how about a devilish RED Sturmgewehr 90 PE?

Yes, I find it unforunate that even The People's Republic of Canada lets their citizen's own a civilian version of the 550. Why we in the land of the free have such messed up import laws is beyond me. I'm all for letting the overseas folks being allowed a level playing field (or at least a more level playing field), but I doubt I'll live to see that day. Till then I can look at pictures and pray that Sig opens up a US plant I guess. :(

Since I missed buying one by just a couple of months...

I wanna Galil ARM. In .308. Oh, yeah, with a bunch of those unobtanium magazines, too. Should look like this:

I voted for the FN2000. It reminds me of a Vietnamese pot bellied pig. Until they can stick a magazine up a Vietnamese pot bellied pig and have it shoot .223 out of the snout I guess the FN2000 will do.

Since no one told me the mag ban had been lifted, I'll go with the FAMAS. It can be adjusted for southpaws, unlike the SA80, and a version of it takes AR magazines, unlike the AUG or G36.

Sorry about the very poor picture quality, but this is from a trip to the range a few weeks ago... :D

BTW, that little Sig is surprisingly easy to shoot accurately at 300 meters, despite the 14 inch barrel... and it looks even cuter with its suppressor attached.

No it's not mine, it belongs to a shooting buddy. But it's nice to know that I can get one if I really want to, "unobtainium magazines" included.

You'll have to excuse me, but it's not that often I can do this, so I would like to take the opportunity to say :neener: :D

My buddy picked up a Galil a while back . 308, folding stock with 6 or 8 mags for about $1300. Pretty cool to shoot!!!! What $ do the mags go for now?

Any SiG 55x is fine by me. A very close second would be the FN FNC. Hindsight being a wonderful thing, I should have traded into the NIB one I saw a long, long time ago when they first came over and were (relative to today) cheap.

decisions, decisons.

Oh, and I see how it is. You Vikings get all the cool toys. <G> Greets, Norge.

my GALIL

Hey all,

I want a Vulcan Armerment V-73 ( Galil copy ) :what:

but i'm not sure if I want 308 or 7.62x39 ( uses ak mags)
this is the blip from thier site:

The Vulcan Arms V73 Series rifles are recreations of the famous Israeli Galil rifles. The V73 feature 100% parts interchangeabililty with the originals, and accept all original accessories and magazines. The receivers are made in the USA from a single block of tool steel.

We offer these rifles in four configurations (100 AR, 110 ARM, 120 Sniper, and 130 Micro) and 3 calibers: 5.56 (.223), 7.62x51(.308), and 7.62x39. The 7.62x39 caliber rifles accept standard AK magazines. All rifles feature folding stocks and flash suppressors. (Scope and Mount are sold separately)

Each V73 comes with muzzle brake/flash hider, sling, manual, hard case, cleaning kit, oiler, gun lock, and Vulcan logo knife - a $255 value!

or Red Stick Arms sells a Galil too, pluss im sure they would convert for Fal or Ak mags
