I know many of y'all that read or post here are knife fans. I'm curious to see who's going to be able to make the Blade Show June 3-5 in Atlanta- maybe we can bump into each other, and if enough members are going to be there, maybe we could meet for lunch for something.

John Shirley...

Been going since the first Blade Show that was held here in Knoxville and don't intend to miss this one.

Valkman's doing good work and well on his way to one day winning awards, but what you'll see at Blade will blow your mind!

LOL - thanks akluver! I wish! I am going to take a couple of my knives and am meeting a bunch of guys from Usual Suspects.net Thursday night. I have talked to Trace Rinaldi and he thinks he can get me a pass, and if I hang around Trace I know I'll meet every knifemaker there! Hopefully I'll get some feedback from them, and I fully plan on having a table at the Vegas show in February with a couple of other guys from here. :)

Thanks for the info, hso. I'd love to meet Wally Hayes - his were the first videos I watched on kniemaking and I'd recommend them to anyone.

Guys,

I'm staying across the street at the Sheraton and will be hanging out at the Waverly in "The Pit". If THR wants to get together we should start making plans to meet.

I think the Ruby Tuesdays in the Galeria is gone. John, any suggestions?

hso,

Some folks (Busse, HI) are meeting Friday night at Fogo's.

I haven't been to Blade in some years, and I'll be riding with a friend. I'll have my cell phone with me, though...

John

I'll be in the Pit Thursday night (and most other's as well ;) ). I'll be wearing my knifeshow trademark horribly ugly bright orange Aloha shirt and carrying a shoulder bag with a bottle of single malt in it.
