He can base a defense upon the Second Amendment protected Right to Keep and Bear Arms. He can claim that the Second Amendment protected(protects) his right to go out and buy arms, thereby claiming that any law he might have broken is unconstitutional. Dragging this SOB into court might be a blessing in disguise.
Irony knows no bounds.
Trouble is, this might just be why he won't be charged, or why any civil suits brought against him will be quashed.
We shall wait and see. They either go down in flames "for the cause", or the infringements upon our rights wither and die.
