Bloomberg for Indendent President?

A Poll in today's Wall Street Journal showed numbers for Hillary against McCain in 2 scenarios: one without Bloomie in the race and another with Bloomie in the race. In the poll with him in the race, he took 10 points away from McCain and only 3 points away from Hillary.

I think he would hurt the Republicans more, if he entered.

Keep in mind that McCain is also a liberal RINO. This scenario doesn't take into account the conservative voters that would rather see someone like Fred Thompson as the Republican candidate. In fact, due to McCains ultra liberal RINOness, I don't even think he could possibly win the Republican nomination, which in turn makes this poll quite pointless.

Bloomberg is quite close to Gov. Arnold of Kali. It is baffling why many republicans want to change the Constitution to allow Arnold to someday run for Pres (he was born in Austria). Some Republicans are so caught up in the Reagan experience that they believe that a Hollywood background is just the ticket to success in politics. One of these days they'll be begging Angelina to run as a Republican.

Bloomberg has less of a chance because as he himself admits, he is from New York, Divorced, Jewish and his record on gay rights and abortion are not Conservative.

Given the above, if he takes more votes away from the GOP, it says terrible things about the state of the Republican Party. (Not the Jewish part)

Personally, I feel he hurts the Dems more, and only in NY State. And not enough to affect Hillary still winning it.

left and far left

Every time the Dems move to the left, the Republicans crowd over as close as they can. I'm tired of RINO's, and keep hoping for some influential CONSERVATIVE to begin to organize a new party. As for G.W. , he needs to put his library in Mexico City.

Lets see. A Billion-aire. Anti-gun. At his level he has no worries. He really understands the "working persons problems. Are you kidding me.
Mr Bloomberg...........I don`t think so.
