Bo Mar Sights on Springfield GI?

Does anyone know which Bo Mar adjustable target sights are dirrect replacements for the Springfield GI or Mil-Spec?

I've checked the Bo-Mar Web site and they have much to be desired for customer service, but they make great sights... Haven't tried to contact Springfield yet.

Anybody know?

I may settle for another adjustable target sight if it's similar to BoMar and is a dirrect replacement.

I have a bo-mar on my kimber. The slide has to be cut so the sight sits down in the slide not just on top. On a GI you will have to change the front sight too because it will be too short. Look at the pics on the Bo-mar products page. http://www.bo-mar.com/kevi_003.htm Mark

Actually, bullseye shooters have been putting Bomar sights in the GI dovetail for many years. The BMCS will require a hole to be drilled and tapped for the elevation screw; and a tall front sight installed. The BMCS-2 has self contained elevation and does not require the hole, but needs an even taller front sight.
