bolt sticks

I have a cz 550 308. I recently removed it from the safe for cleaning. I removed the bolt, then attempted to replace it to check the trigger. It went in about half way and stuck. would go no further. I did not want to break something so I applied moderate pressure with no results. The bolt goes in properly until half way. then just stops. any help please. The pathway is clear and nothing seems to be there except for a small rod sticking up in the bolt pathway. I can press it down with my finger. Safety off or on has no effect. I assume you pushed the same lever to install as you did to remove?

Can you see the firing pin protruding from the bolt face?

Make sure the bolt sleeve didn't turn and uncock it.

It simply will not go back in uncocked.

If it uncocked, hook the striker on the edge of a bench, pull it back, and rotate the bolt sleeve to the cocked position.
