Just saw it on the news. Apparently, a cop in Missouri hung on to the guns after taking down the bandits, they were on loan to a museum for years, and the cop's family recently decided to reclaim and sell them at auction. They sold for $210,000 for both. I have no other details. Anyone else hear about this.

Heard it today. My parents were telling me about the auction on Saturday but didn't know when it ended.

I believe the Thompson sold for $130,000, according to the article.

People like Bonnie and Clyde are the reason you can't own a Thompson.
(Unless you are rich of course.)
