Bore diameter of Ruger Mini 30?

What is the bore diameter of the Ruger mini 30?

If you are reloading 7.62x39, what bullet size should be used for the Mini 30?

What if you are loading for an SKS or AK?

It depends on when the rifle was made.

EARLY mini 30's has a .308" bore with a tapered throat to allow shooting .310" bullets

IIRC any mini made after 1993 will have a .310" bore.

I never bothered loading plinking x39 ammo but I would load hunting ammo and for that I used the .308 dia nosler ballistic tip even though my rifles had a .310 bore.

Every rifle is diffrent but in my guns there was really no decrease in accuracy as .002" is a lot less than folks realize.
