Does anyone sell a bore guide for the Super RedHawk?

Seems like a bore guide would be a very valuable accessory for a revolver since you HAVE to clean from the muzzle.

I use a "Kleen Bore" 'PocKit' to clean my RH and SBH. Its a little kit which stores in the tactical black plastic handle. A few rods brushes & tips. It has a little round tapered plastic cone which slips over the rod close to the handle and can be slipped up to ride in the bore and held in place with one hand while I scrub to my hearts content with my other. Great little kit for about 8 bucks I think it was.

Made my own...

The 1" PVC pipe fits the muzzle perfectly. I just had to cut a slot for the front sight, thread on a cap and drill a hole in the middle of the cap.

Yes, Sinclair sells a 44/45 cal. muzzle bore guide.........I bought a 30 cal. and the 44/45 bore guide to be used from the muzzle...

Don't use one for mine. I'm just careful when I clean it......making sure the rod doesn't touch the grooves at the muzzle.

JohnKSa.........how true........the bore guides are so cheap, why even take a chance of damaging the crown........I also use mine on the Savage 99 in 308, and my Marlin 44 mag carbine, both of which are lever actions.....before I bought the guides, I tried to be very careful cleaning from the muzzle and even so hit the crown every once in awhile......just good insurance to buy the bore guides and not damage the crowns....revolvers and lever action rifles I use all the time and so the little extra time to put the bore guide on does not faze me..........

Don't any of the rods come with the little brass doodad any more? That was a pretty good bore guide. I think the Kleenbore one piece rods have em.
