Bore store for scoped AR?

I've got an AR with a Leupold scope (scope has target knobs). I bought a bore store (cloth gun sock for storage) designed for a scoped rifle, but it won't fit on the AR (target knobs; pistol grip).

Will the bore store for the riot shotgun fit?

All of the bore stores I have are the same size, but I don't have one specially for a riot shotgun. A scoped AR would be a difficult thing to manage in and out of a sock.

I don't know of any of those socks that a scoped, pistol gripped rifle will properly fit into.

Plenty of not too expensive cases out there, though...
