I've tried more than a few bore cleaners and BTE is the way to go. The high quality bore cleners I've used Hoppes, Butch's Bore shine, Gun Slick foaming bore cleaner. Clean your fire arm with whichever cleaner you use and then try BTE then see what happens. I cleaned several brand new firearms for years with Butchs bore shine, Gun Slick foaming bore cleaner and Hoppes and tried BTE after reading about it on another forum. It took nearly 50 patches to remove what was apparently years of fouling from one of my older firearms. You can use it in the house without smelling up the place too.

Really good product just follow the instructions. If you don't like brushes you can just run 3or 4 patches every 10 minutes works great. Don't use bronze or copper brushes or brass jags.

Been using it on my .50 BMG for years, made many converts after letting people try it. Following the directions is the key to making it easy and getting rid of copper deposits fast. And the best part is what you mentioned, NO odor and that keeps the wife happy!

I use their products as well. As stated, following the directions is key. I am alternating methods right now to attempt to improve the speed but it looks like just Bore Tech Eliminator is going to be the one stop solution. I am trying Kroil soaked bore with a light bronze brushing and jagging patches until dry then switching to Bore Tech Cu2+ but it seems Eliminator is just as fast. At least on my bolt guns. My goal is to use something to really knock the carbon out and let the Eliminator do what it does best - get the copper out. Plus the BT products can be left in the bore unlike ammonia based solvents.

As a Cu cleaning agent I've found that BTE is the best I've used. But it doesn't do all that great a job on carbon fouling - but that is easily taken care of with Ballistol, Gunzilla or M Pro 7.
