I went to the gun shop with the intention of coming home with a 229 and I decided I should just lay the XD and the Sig side by side just in case before spending the money. I like the Sig but that XD just fit my hand perfectly, is almost exactly the same size as the Sig and the trigger pull is the same from first to last (and quite good at that). The XD was almost half the cost of the Sig as well so I couldn't help it...had to go with the XD. I put 50 rounds 115 Magtech through it and it did OK at 30 yards. I was in a hurry and didn't have my glasses on but it seems to want to shoot. I will do more with it this weekend but I'm sure it will be everything I need in a compact everyday carry pistol.
Bought a 4" XD 9MM....
