Anyone know where to get ammo for this thing? Methinks Skunky needs one of these to fill out the last secret pocket in his ninja outfit. :D

We really need a range report on that Five-Seven.
Is that the single or double action model?
 
The suppressor on the Mark 23 is a SWR HEMS45. I wanted one with a recoil booster to make sure the slide cycled. Supposedly the Gemtech is light enough to not need one, dunno... never really had a chance to try one of theirs out.

I got the FiveseveN for about $850 out the door. It's the Individual Officer Model that's single action with a hidden hammer underneath the slide. The trigger is terrible but I think it will loosen up. It feels like something is rubbing against something under the slide that isn't supposed to be. I dry fired it about 200 times and it helped a little, probably will just take time to smooth it out.

Hehe, I'll try ordering from Impact Guns I think. Socom Mfg has ammo but only sells 1000 round lots. :uhoh:
 
hmm...any reloaders wanna give 5.7mm FN a shot?

That's not a cheap can...$1000 for one if i remember correctly....but specs impressive enough to warrant the cost.
 
They have one of those at Machine Gun Kelly's in Las Vegas.
I didn't pay much attention to it, nor did I check if they had any ammo for it. They did have one round of ammo displayed next to the pistol.

I was in there trying to find out why I haven't received my TWO suppressors that I ordered and paid for 14 months ago.
 
I had a chance to rip a few rounds through one about a month ago. Very flat shooting gun-easy to track the front sight. The safety/selector was a little goofy IIRC but the trigger was very good. I specifically recall that it had a quick reset.

After close examination of the subject pistol, both in fact and in photographic images, an independent panel has deemed the FN FiveseveN the new holder of the title - - -

UGLIEST PISTOL IN CURRENT PRODUCTION..

The panel is still contemplating the award "OF ALL TIME."

Actually I *do* have a single round of SS190 from my days in the LEO Class III business; but it's staying in my oddball cartridge collection.

Here's an old picture of the safe we used to store the Class III stuff in:
