I found it at a small gun counter in a large family owned hardware store. Supposedly it was a Sig LE buy-back gun.
Looking at the rub points inside, the gun looks like it had very minimal shooting wear. The holster wear is minor too. None of the 5 screws are buggered and the roll pin in the slide looks to have never been removed.
The serial number is on the barrel. The gun states "Made in Germany". The slide is stamped "12-83" towards the end of the barrel, which I suppose is the date. It also has "NW" stamped on the slide all by itself. The other side says "Georgia, UT"
The double action trigger is smooth and the single action trigger is most crisp Sig trigger I have felt. It is also admirably light. Actually the trigger is why I bought the gun. I don't like pistols with a barrel shorter than 4.5, but the trigger on this gun was so sweet I couldn't pass it up.
The gun came with two mags, the original blue plastic box, and a German only owners manual which looks pretty old. The price was $399.99
