I mean this one lasted almost 3k. I read on the ruger forum that if you let the rebound spring get/stay dirty that it will break sooner. Maybe that contributed to its early failure here.

I'm pretty sure the new ones aren't subject to the recall......(I think?) If you put in an aftermarket fire control group that solves the problem too.....please correct me if I'm wrong.
TNG, I've never had one fail either......and trust me.....I don't clean my guns nearly as often as many folks do.
