Bought an XD9, seems pretty neat

I've wanted a Sig P226 in 357sig for a while but I could never bring myself to spend that much on a gun I wouldn't shoot as much as my other guns due to ammo cost. I picked up a like new used Springfield XD 357sig recently and took it to the range for the first time last night. I like it but not as much as a P226. I'll keep the XD for a while and shoot it some more before deciding if it's a keeper.

Waxed Canvas, think about it. I can get a chunck of raw carbon steel with no finish, keep it oiled and prevent rust. It boiles down to lack of care.
