Well, bought may to strong a word, selected and put that puppy on layaway to pick up in a week or two would be more accurate methinks.

Anyway, a Sig 239 in 40 S&W standard ol DA/SA. I think this is the start of a wonderful relationship....once I bail it out of lockup anyway.

Here's wishing it doesn't stay in lockup too long. I think you will enjoy the 40s&w. I bought a 40 barrel to swap into my 10mm pistol. I took it to the range today to shoot it for the first time. It is a lot cheaper to shoot than the 10. I enjoy shooting them both. Good luck with yours.

Yeah, its going to be dual purpose for range work and CHL (which I will be getting soon now that I have something to do it with) so opted for the more powerful load. And a thousand rounds on ammoman is only 50 bucks more, and when we are talking that amount of ammo 50 bucks more is doable lol. Little less capacity then I would have liked bit I have small hands and it fits me great. All things depending I might have it out a bit sooner, but it'll be home in two weeks tops next payday.

Plus when I get to it I can get the conversion barrel and g9ive .357 sig a try.

Well done. I look forward to seeing a range report. I'm not a fan of paying for .40, but the performance of the decent SD loadings is certainly not to be disparaged!

Yeah not sure about box for box at the gun store as I didn't really look to be honest, but on ammoman a thousand rounds is only like fifty bucks more for the basic lawman or AE ammo. I figure i nthat ammo count and price range fifty or so bucks extra isn't going to kill me lol.
