Bounty Hunters

I know what I would do, but what can I legally do? Anyone know?

I don't know. But the Supreme Court citation above says a bounty hunter can break into "his" (the bad guy's) house. Unless you're renting from or rooming with a bail jumper, if a BH kicks in your front door it ain't the BG's, so the BH is no different from any other gang banger trying to kick in your door.

Lock and load, in accordance with your particular state's laws.

What happens if they come crashing through my door in the middle of the night thinking I am the guy they are looking for yelling "Bail Enforcement Agents"? What am I legally allowed to do to stop them from taking me away?

Depending on the laws in your state. Bounty Hunters have to be very careful about who's door they break down. If they screw up and come into YOUR door with guns drawn, you have to assume that they are gang banger thugs invading your home and using the bail enforcement angle to pacify you. Sorry to say, but Bounty Hunters must understand that if they are incorrect, they are either going to be arrested, or killed.

Lock and load.

Government Licensing and registration is all about fees and nothing about control (IMHO)

So..if you want to "reign them in" lock up the morons like the one described.

Simple huh???:scrutiny:

SO, I can carry loaded firearms in my car and on my person with no permit, background check, license etc. so long as when a cop pulls me over I have a fake "Bail Enforcement Agent" badge, body armor etc. ? Wow, I didn't know it was so easy!

"Bail Enforcement Agents" need licensing to verify background and BONDING! If they have no insurance or bonding there is no one to sue when they F'up.
