im looking for a good bow release to get my father his getting older and he cant hold the bow string anymore like he wants too. he's custom to shooting with fingers so im looking for a trigger that can attach above and below the nock on the bow string. I have seen one on that new TV show chasing tail but I could not identify what brand or what it was called or where to get one. any help will help.

Thanks.

I assume this is for a recurve. You could take the bow to a pro shop and have them tie a nocking loop above/below the nocking point, like they would on a compound. Then you can use any release designed for a compound bow.

Maybe it is time Dad learned to use a mechanical release even if the only one you can find does have a single set of jaws. It he is changing to a mechanical release anyway, there is going to be changes anyway.

If you've never served in a position related to the legislature, you have no business opining on matters related thereto.

If you've never served in a position related to sporting goods manufacture, you have no business opining on matters related thereto.

If you've never served in a position related to "fill in the blank", you have no business opining on matters related thereto.

Those just don't sem right somehow........

I think a trip to an Archery Shop is in order as a good shop will have several options to offer.
Now is the time as the shops aren't involved with Hunting Seasons and are not as busy.

Perhaps this is a dumb suggestion, but would learning to shoot with a thumbring be a possible solution? I don't think any modifications need to be made, it's cheaper, and it wouldn't be such a drastic change for your dad.
