Id like to build one but there seems to be litte info on the subject. Sure there are lots of pics, but does anyone know where I can get a set of plans ?

No real plans that I am aware of. Everything is pretty much custom made. They can be made for under $100 or you can buy the one on smallarmsdepot.com for $2000 + $350 s/h. The one on smallarmsdepot is made by a guy on www.1919a4.com. He goes by "Kevin" so you my try him for plans.

Someone on 1919a4 posted this site. Its a forum and looks pretty good. A bunch of info on bowling ball mortors and cannons. Look for the "florida bowling ball mortar" and there is a small drawing of a trunion/chamber. This is not really neaded but its up to you.
