Where can I find a BP measure to use with pyrodex or an alternative measure? I'm looking for about 70"gr" or so of RS.. In fact, if you could give me an # for the LEE powder scoops, that would be great.

TC Hawken .50 w/ .490 ball and .018 patch.

Not sure what it is you're after. Do you want a fixed volume for 70 grains, or an adjustable volume measure, or a spout for a flask...?

Sorry, should have been more clear, I'd like an adjustable measure, ideally but as of right now I'd like something in a pinch that I can use since that pyrodex is volumetric vs goex in weight.. SO I'm looking for something that I can dump out 70gr or so of pydrodex.

Amazing.. Thanks for the links! I'll be giving that site a hard look.. How did you figure out the volume for the lee dippers?

One generally measures both BP and Pyrodex by volume with out regard to weight. I generally use the same volume of either for any given load. With the same volume Pyrodex supposedly has a very slight edge in velocity, but it's probably smaller than the gun to gun variation.

A given volume of Pyrodex will weigh less than the same volume of BP.

(The grain black powder equivalent volume is a unit of volume measure that must drive the metric Nazis nuts.)
