This is a continuation of the thread I started in the general discussion.

I am going to purchase some BP revolvers for groomsmen gifts for my wedding next June.
Although they will be shot, they will probably not be shot very often. They'll be more for display and occasional fun. So, they don't need to be the best there is, but something acceptable looking and capable of functioning for minor use.
Any suggestions?
My limit will be around $200 or so per revolver. I saw a lot of suggestions regarding Pietta in my previous thread, and their pricing through Cabela's seem good...any opinions of this brand?
Model-wise, I'm looking at the Remington 1858 style BP revolvers.
Cabela's sells some decent looking display boxes, too - but if you know of any revolvers that come in a nice box, feel free to chime in on that, too.
Thanks for any BP advice/guidance you can provide.
P.S. - I live in Illinois, so BP weapons are considered firearms here. That means they must transfer through a dealer if I don't buy them directly from a dealer. I'm aware of that Also all of my groomsmen have FOID cards (Illinois' firearm owners identification card).
