You can disable this setting within your facebook account. Go to Account > Privacy Settings > Applications and Websites > Instant Personalization > and uncheck "Allow" to keep your info, YOUR info.
 
I removed myself from all those social networking sites over a year ago, They become too evasive for my taste, and I'm a geek. There must be 20 of them now. My inbox was full of crap everyday from some unown "friend". it's a good way to get inside someones computer also, with a key logger or a trojen. There are so many new worms and viruses out there that it's just asking for trouble IMO.

For those of you who are having trouble voting: Try going to the Brady Campaign's main FB page then go to the Poll tab.
 
Now it is 283 for and STILL 23 against. Now it's 10 to 1! Same results happened when Nickels tried his gun ban in Seattle. Public opinion was surprisingly exactly the same ratio! During the public comment period, according to the mayor's own office, 92% were against the ban and only 8% were for the ban - and that was Seattle residents. Non-Seattle residents, 98% were against and only 2% were for.

So why is it again we are so afraid of the anti-gun group?

BTW, I notice their video/fundraising site is Karma411... seems like karma is coming back around to them, doesn't it?

Bloomie has just announced support for a "gun show loophole" thing (again) by claiming that the four guns used at Columbine were bought from a gun show. One wasn't, and the other three were a straw purchase wherein the purchaser would have passed the NICS check.... But the media will ignore that....

If you have access to "Smithsonian", this month's issue covers Prohibition. ONE guy seems to have invented this kind of political action. Good read on how to do it anyway.... Bloomie's doing the same thing, but throwing around a lot of his own money.

Here in OH, it appears that the Toby Hoover "Gun Violence" group, which always has a talking head whenever the word "gun" is mentioned, has two members.... (OAGV?)

I love it when one of these polls blows up like this, but they'll ignore it, say it's "unscientific", or whatever, and the media will get it wrong, too....

Some years ago the Brady folks started publishing the names of the "children" they claimed were killed by guns daily. When a forum member (there) questioned some of the children being over 40, he was blackballed....

Their mindset is such that the truth is a lie, and their lies are the truth.... Psychotic, IMHO....

Their poll is unconstitutional... I hope they loose. Woah lets ban CC and lets ban guns! Totaly unconstitutional. We are the brady campaign! we are ANTI-AMERICAN-ANTI -CONSTITUTIONAL.

Doesn't look like its going their way-- I just looked and it was 97% for carrying guns in public against 3% for..or something like that..:neener:
 
I joined facebook just to vote on this. 326 pro and a whopping 24 anti, take that Sarah! BTW anyone else look at the donation box? They have 1030 odd supporters and only $156 dollars donated!!!

Remember alot of these people are the same crowd that wants to tax you and give it to others, showing how compassionate and caring they are. Yet they can't practice what they preach.

I think a fella named Soros is making up for the paltry donations of the Brady Bunch membership.

I read the article in "Smithsonian" the other night and the thought the same thing about the aplicability of such political action to gun control. It was interesting to me how fast the article made the ratification of the 18th Amendment come about. The reasons for its' repeal were just as interesting and possibly a warning to us. Especially when it comes to taxes....
