Yesterday I made my first kill with my homemade longbow. My puppy (bird dog) pointed a quail at the local hunt club and it flushed and I shot it down with my longbow. woot. Brought it home and took the meat off the bone and made a quail breast sandwich for lunch.

But did you hit the bird with an arrow or club it with the bow?
Curious minds want to know.
If you can post a pic of your bow, please do. My one attempt at making a bow turned out to be a barely acceptable fence post.
