I've got one and really like it, I shoot it better than my Dan Wesson Valor.

Nice, very nice! Congrats on a getting a great gun. Makes me miss my old Series 70 Gold Cup. With the right loads that gun could could keep them all in the black with minimal effort on my part.

Question, having shot one several times, but having not fired many colts, maybe 5 in 50 yrs, How much more accurate than a standard Colt Govt, are they supposed to be.
there are much more expensive Colts over 2 grand, so how accurate is this compared to another model.
Please don't tell me it depends on the shooter, I am talking about from a rest same ammo etc? thanks

In my hands, the 2003 built Gold Cup Trophy Match I have is quite easy to shoot accurately. That said, my new 01991 is pretty close, but I have to bear down more to get close to it. The excellent trigger which GCs come with certainly helps, as do the sights. The difference becomes more apparent as the distance to the target increases, using the same ammo.

Very nice! Congrats!

Looks like one I let a friend talk me out of years ago.

I bought a new one about 6 weeks ago from Bud's for a great price of $985. So far, I have ran about 1300 rounds thru it with no problems.
