Brand new KelTec PF9 Desert Tan?

^^ I think the tan (and other colored ones) are Cerakote-finished. That would account for the slightly-higher price. The hard-chrome-slide ones are the most expensive (that's the one I have, though the HC slide was added after I got it.)

Yes. Buy it. Cheapest I could find last month was $300 including tax for new. It was a darker brown, not desert tan. And, it was new (until I bought it and put 150+ rounds through it without a single hiccup).

Not the most pleasant thing to shoot, but it's the best pocket 9 out there in my opinion.

Why would you want a Desert Tan color got a pocket pistol. I like my PF-9 in plain old black. my self I think making pistols in different colors is silly.

That's a fair price. I have one in gray that I've carried for several years. Very reliable and surprisingly accurate. Very light, so it's got a pretty good kick. Not unmanageable by any means, but I doubt you'll want to fire more than a few mags per session. Slightly smaller than the S&W Shield. The Shield is a lot heavier and more pleasant to shoot. Also costs a lot more and has been hard to find. The PF9 is a very viable pocket carry piece.

Uh, maybe because he's not you? Imagine how boring this world would be if we all were exactly like you?

I would have no problem buying the PF9 at that price if I needed another one. Mine has been a good gun for me and fits easily in cargo shorts pockets.
