Just a heads-up for those desperately seeking a brand-new XD-45...Coal Creek Armory in West Knoxville today took delivery of three [3!] new-in-the-box 4"ers in basic black w/the complete pistol-pack of holster, double-mag case and EZ-loader.

I suspect they won't last the weekend...but they've taken my credit card number to hold pistols before...and they'll do layaway for up to 30 days.

Didn't know there was a shortage, local stores here are full of them, when I picked mine up I had a choice of 3 local gun stores.

Cheapest was just $450 (sale on Veterans Day ) - I doubt Coal Creek will match that.

Since you don't list a complete profile, I've no idea where this super deal was.

How 'bout giving us the store's name, number and a personal contact where they offer a NIB XD-45 with complete pistol pack for $450? :rolleyes:
 
Every store here has several of them. Their initial popularity here has seemed to die down quite a bit. Highest here is $550, with the average being $460+tx.
Not a bad weapon for the money overall. Maybe they are harder to find in some areas.
 
Here in the Portland, Oregon area supply does not seem to be a problem. Just called my favorite gun store and checked. The have a half dozen in stock right now.

Sure...this isn't personal, sir. Just curious given that the XD-45 has absolutely destroyed Glock 21 sales in this area and continues in huge demand.

And for my SIG bud Ala Dan...you got a huge deal! Go Vols!
 
I wish I could say they were in stock here in San Antonio, as it took me several weeks of stopping by Sportsman's Warehouse before they got on in stock. I called a local dealer, but he wanted a considerable amount more for one. So far (200 rounds) I love it, it is a great gun!

WOW! We are getting ripped off here in the Midwest...local shop owner wants $590 for the new XD-45.

I skipped that in favor of a "used" Taurus Mil Pro-111 for $270 with two-12 round mags and a very nice zipper, storage bag.

Farm & Fleet has Remmington 9mm ... two boxes for $13 on sale.

Largest local gun show this weekend [RK's @ the Expo Center] had none available. Don't know if Coal Creek Armory has any left at a great price.
 
Woops, I should have mentioned that the price of $590 I quoted above is not JUST for the gun, but you also get a nice holster and a two-mag holster as well. I assume you also get the whole "cleaning kit" with case, too. The XD-45 I also looked at was the Tactical one. I don't know if that affects price, but it was also all black.

All the XD45's come with the holster and mag pouch. The service model and tactical are priced the same, if you look around you can get them for around $500, sometimes less.
