The John Wayne film, "Brannigan," just started on AMC. It's looking good so far. Really liked the intro, with those looooong, cool shots of his Colt revolver (a .45 Long Colt??). What IS that gun, anyways?

Any comments on the revo, or the film?? Thanx.

"You can always rely on America to do the right thing - once it has exhausted the alternatives." -- Winston Churchill

Got it

According to the inspector (Sir Attenborough), it's a ".38 calibre Colt Diamondback revolver." It was kinda pretty.

The film wasn't too bad, either. The jury-rigged shotgun was interesting, as was his Mexican-carry of the Colt (and the blonde!).
