Brass...9mm, 45acp & 223,,, Where are you buying?

Just curious
I am getting back to reloading after taking years off.
I want to go shooting again & know better than to not reload soooooo
Have everything coming except I need to find brass
well bullets too but that is easier so it seems.
Everywhere seems sold out of brass or prices seem crazy.
Where are you folks finding brass these days?

Also what do you folks think of buying once fired on these auctions online?
I am tempted

I'd check local sources for bullets. Brass deals run O'plenty on this here forum. Post a "WTB" wnt to buy as see what shows up. Great group of shooters here, there's plenty out there. good luck.

I have been away awhile & wondered.
It has been hard to find any online in stock new.
I see Dillon but it is 27 per 100 for 45 new....wow!

What is "new" brass?, I can't remember the last time I loaded new brass (other than rifle loads for hunting) Keep looking, there is plenty of once fired brass available.

New brass as in what midway or dillon or graf sells.
runs about $25/100
As opposed to the $9/100 of the one I mentioned 1x fired.
I have been looking awhile now & it seems these 3 calibers are very popular all of a sudden

In a recent post on a different forum, evan price posted the following prices, and they seem consistent with what I've been seeing. His prices are based on 1X fired, CLEANED & TUMBLED, shiny & ready to reload brass, PLUS SHIPPING. USPS Flat Rate shipping is your friend. $5 for an envelope (can get under 5-lb in one) and flat-rate boxes for larger orders.

5.56 (mostly Lake City) Need to sort for crimped primer vs uncrimped- uncrimped is worth $5 a thousand more easy. I get between $50-$75 a thousand for cleaned .223. .mil brass is usually more desireable, but the crimped primers detract for some.
308 Ten cents per case and up, for Lake City Match or M118 brass, it can be up to 25 cents each. In these cases, .mil brass is more desireable than generic wal*mart commercial headstamps. I sell mixmaster oddball foreign Boxer primed .308 cases for ten cents each.
30-30 Ten cents each
30-06 (mostly HXP) Ten cents each, and up to around 12-15 cents each if they are all matching headstamps and in quantity. More still if in the original retail boxes with separators if they are retail brass. This is true for all rifle calibers, so I scrounge in the trash cans for the boxes, too.

357 Mag 10-12 cents each
357 Sig 10 cents each
38 Spec. 4-5 cents each
45 ACP 5-7 cents each
32 ACP 6 cents each
9mm 3 cents each
44 Spec 15 cents each or more, this is hard to find.
40 Auto 3 cents each

I've got a local guy that I buy from - he cleans an indoor range so I am assuming the brass is once fired. The outdoor range I belong to, there is no brass lying on the ground - except 22LR and well - it can stay there

I pay $3/lb. I picked up 1000 223 rounds for $42 yesterday.

I'm in Utah - so if anyone needs his number, just let me know.

didn't see any .223 listed but could have missed it.
