Prices are all over the place. I see 5.56 offered fairly often for 5 to 6 cents, 308 runs about 12, 50 runs from 50 to 1.50 a round, all unpolished. Personally I do not ever buy polished brass because I want to see exactly what the brass looks like, any corrosion or stains, all of which are hidden by polishing. I know because I sell brass too.
I prefer military brass myself, because I think it's more uniform and I can get more loads out of it. Of course it has crimped primers but once they are swaged out, you never have to touch it again. Swaging is no big deal for me as I use a Dillon Super Swager or send the brass off to a guy who processes it for 3 cents per round.
