Ok so I am at a poker game. At said poker game, there was free alcohol being served, and one of the participants became rather beligerant. Quite so in fact that he threatened to beat up the host. The next line that came out of the host's mouth is "ill just --deleted-- shoot you then.

Now i dont know if that man had a gun or not, but it soon went to fistacuffs. This was interesting. Bout five or six people got involved, mostly trying to restrain. Ultimatly no none was hurt aside from a few good punches in the face. But I have to say. His comment struck a tone with me.

"I'll just ---deleted-- & shoot you then"...
Scary words if they are said with true intent... Im glad it didnt come to that.

But yes, sure it would! So what's the lesson learned? I think it goes right back to what lemmycaution said. Avoid competitive social situations with violent jerks!

Or as John Farnam opined, "Don't go to stupid places, with stupid people, to do stupid things." Valuing life and a life of freedom, lived outside of mortuaries, funeral parlors, hospitals, courts, and jails, perhaps this crowd isn't a very good set of companions.

I have found that the amount of drama in my life is dramatically lower now that I don't hang around with "friends" who want to drink and fight. Perhaps I am not a good friend, but if you want to go out and do something stupid for no good reason, then I don't "got your back"!

Posting a story about two guys who hit each other is pretty pointless to put it bluntly. The OP asks no questions and offers no tips or points. It's basically a completely pointless post.

0to60, are you sure you understand the raison d'etre of THR? One really doesn't come here and post a random story like that without having some reason for doing so.

"Cool story bro!" doesn't make it on-topic for THR.
