I just got one from J&G using my C&R. It's a very nice rifle! Well worth the money.

In case you aren't aware, it's an early version of the modern CZ-452, it even shares the same mags. However, the modern rifle has more refined tooling, better sights, nicer wood, and costs about two or three times as much.

DMK, my 452 was only 200 including tax.
That's a nice price for an outstanding rifle. I was going by local prices around here.

Tman, mine seems to shoot pretty well. So far I've only shot it standing, off shoulder, but it seems to shoot much better than both my Romanian trainers, and my Marlin 60. I do need to try shooting it from a rest, just so I know what it can do.

It's in really nice shape for a 50 year old rifle(I got one of the older ones for C&R eligibility). I took it completely apart and cleaned it up with CLP, wiped some Tung oil in the very dry stock and took her out in the woods.

I had some trouble with two of the spare mags I got from J&G, the rounds wouldn't strip off reliably. However, they seemed to fit tight. I didn't look too closely at it, but they appeared to not be fitting all the way in. I guess I'll have to tweak them a bit. The other spare and the one it came with worked flawlessly though.
