Some years ago I purchased a ZKK 602 in 375 H&H from Bauska in Montana (1985 proofs - old but not old enough to have rear peep sight) and later a second from AAL with 1991 proofs. My friend and I had ambitions of hunting Africa and I had a rifle range in the backyard to play. Anyhow my friend converted the 1991 one to 416 Rigby with a custom barrel and custom express sight but up and died before we could execute our plans.

His widow gave me the 416 Rigby about a dozen years ago and both rifles have sat unused all these years. Not having a range available anymore and having arrived at an arthritic 70 years of age I am lightening up on the big boomers.

Anyone have an idea what these rifles are worth?

I think that ZKK could bring around 1000 to the right buyer. They are not too well known of a BRNO manufactured rifle. They have safeties that work backwards from what most Americans are used to but they are a solid rifle built on a strong Mauser action.

Thanks. I actually found a gun smith in South Africa who will take the bolt head and convert it to work like the model 70 (i.e. off forward) for about $175
