I broke my #1 reloading die wrench a while back, but was able to get it back in service. You know I never had a die stuck where this wrench failed to remove it. Good wrench!

Plywood for the next bench top?
Carpet in a garage/mancave? Is she taking it over for arts and crafts?

Next bench will be heavy steel I beams with seasoned oak top. Already have it all, just nowhere to assemble it.

We had a roof leak that killed the laminate. Since we were redoing it anyway she decided we needed carpet because after I added a closet and window we now have an extra bedroom which increases the value of the house. Carpet is nicer than laminate in a bedroom....but we still haven't moved.

In normal use, I broke the handle on my Dillon SD press (one of the early ones, a non-B version). It is shown in the pic below with their replacement handle below it.

Difficult to tell from the photo, but was there any difference with the new arm? Or did they give you the old "if it hurts when you do that then don't do that" line?

Note about decapping pins. If you buy a couple before you ever start it almost insures you will never need them.

This amazingly actually almost works sometimes..!!!

Long ago when I bought my first Lee Universal Decapping die, I broke 2 pins ( bought one extra at original purchase) until I understood how to adjust it.
Called Lee to order 2 more, one to replace the broke one and a spare.
They sent them to me for FREE. Even after I told them I broke them because I was trying to figure out how tight to make the pin so it would slip when needed, but push all my primers out.
Since then (about 6+ years) I have never broke another one?????
Buy a spare and not use it, what a deal...:D

I recently broke the crank handles off my RCBS separator. No photos though since I tossed them at a groundhog that was burrowing under my deck.

RCBS

After over 40 years of use I broke the plastic spent primer tray on my RockChucker,e-mailed RCBS and they sent me a new one,NO CHARGE !!!!!!!!!!! hdbiker

I have broken some decapping pins which are a quick fix.

When I was a kid I knocked over my Dad's RCBS scale and it was no good afterwards. Surprisingly enough, he wasnt that upset with me.

I snapped the lever on the Lee hand primer. Wish I wouldve taken a picture.

Overall I am pretty happy with how little I have broken in the 15 years I have been reloading.

hdbiker, I just recently received my new tray from RCBS, also no charge, and I had mine since 1970. I must admit I did break some de-capping pins, but then again RCBS provided me a lifetime supply.

I broke a Lee Safety scale once. That was because I stepped out back of my apt building and slammed it into the pavement as hard as I could.

But would they replace it under warranty? :)

Might have been fun to try and see.

I was reloading and it fell from my 3rd story window onto the patio.....

Decap pins for me, broke two in a row on some crummy GFI .223 brass that had flash holes way off center.
Lee replaced them for me even though I said it was my fault.

A decapping pin or two trying to decap some A-Merc brass long ago but nothing other comes to mind to report. I have worn out some parts on Lee priming tools or cutter studs on their case length tool or such. Worn out a couple of vibratory case cleaners as well, but to outright break something that is reloading related is not that easy for me to do if paying attention I have observed.

My wrench is a bit smaller than the one CATPOP uses I am afraid.:D
