I bought a couple cases of 55 grain .223 Brown Bear plinking ammo a few months ago. Unfortunately, it is giving my ARs indigestion. I think the primers are a bit hard, as the rounds will eventually fire if I try them again. However about 1 in 5 won't go bang the first time around. Is anyone else having similar issues?

I'll stick to Tula/Wolf from now on.

Not me. Make sure your using a normal hammer spring and that the firing pin and firing pin channel in the bolt are clean. If you still have problems you can try a extra strength hammer spring.

I've shot thousands of rounds of Brown Bear through various guns and have not had any problems.

I too have shot thousands of rounds of Russian ammo. This is the first "bad" batch I have had. Usually whenever I have an AR problem, it is because the BCG has run dry. And any issues can be resolved with lube.
